 Sandra Donda Merino  is a journalist and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, CA, with previous experience in New York City and Madrid.

Currently, Sandra is an Executive Assistant for Audiovisual Production and Research at La Panda Productions in Los Angeles, supported by the ICEX Vives Fellowship. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and earned a Master of Fine Arts in Writing and Producing for Television from Long Island University in May 2023, where she was awarded the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship.

Sandra’s career is centered on audiovisual communication. She has collaborated with leading media organizations, including Mediaset in Spain and Dow Jones in the United States, and has worked with diplomatic institutions such as the Consulate General of Spain in New York.

In journalism, Sandra has gained experience in diverse roles, including video and audio editor, SEO specialist, digital content creator, and social media manager, working across different area, such as entertainment or the news.

In filmmaking, Sandra has hands-on experience in key roles such as Director of Photography, First Assistant Camera, Prop Designer, Producer and Writer. She is proficient with professional equipment, including Blackmagic Pro, Sony FS7, and DSLRs, and has filmed both in-studio and on location in the US and Spain. She is also skilled in editing with industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere and After Effects.

A goal-oriented professional with a passion for media, Sandra is committed to excellence. In addition to her Fulbright Scholarship and ICEX Vives Fellowship, she is a recognized member of the Spanish Society of Academic Excellence and was named one of the Top 10 Communication Talents in Spain by The Nova 111 Student List.
